Highlighted Quranic listing of the sixteenth Separa (Qala Alam) is here. An attempt has been made to simplify tracking of the desired information. 

At the outset, it is necessary to acknowledge innumerable sources used in compilation of this effort. No attempt has been made to list the references individually; but sincere thanks are due to all, individually and collectively.

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL 

Surah Al Kahf 

(74-110)

 > “He said: Did I not tell you that you will not be able to have patience with me”? (75)

> ” (Musa) said: If ever I ask you about anything after this, do not keep me in your company; then surely you will have an excuse (for parting) with me”: (76)

> ” Then they went on their way till they came to the people of a town, and asked the people for food, but they refused to have them as their guests; then they found in it a wall which was about to fall, and he set it upright. (Musa) said: If you had wished, surely you might have taken a wage for it”: (77)

> He said: This shall be the parting between you and me, now I will tell you the interpretation of what you could not bear with patience”: (78)

> ” As for the boat, it belonged to poor people working on the sea, and I decided to damage it because there was a king after them who seized every boat by force”: (79)

> ” As for the boy, his parents are believers, and we feared that he would grieve them by rebellion and infidelity”: (80)

> ” So we intended that their Lord should give them in exchange better than he in purity (of conduct) and closer in affection”: (81)

> ” And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and underneath it was a treasure (intended) for them, and their father had been a righteous, so your Lord willed that they should attain their maturity and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Lord; and I did not do it of my own will. This is the interpretation of that wherewith you were not able to have patience”: (82)

Flag 1: Musa’s Patience on Trial (Kahf-18: 60-82) 

> ” They ask you about Dhul Qarnayn. Say: I shall recite to you an account of him”: (83)

(i) Based on history, Dhul Qarnayn was Persian King (Cyrus the Great).

> ” Verily We made him mighty in the land and gave means of accomplishing everything”: (84)

Flag 3: Dhul Qarnayn: The mighty, gifted, upright, righteous & God fearing King: (Kahf-18: 84)

Note:

(i) Dhul Qarnayn’s sway extended from east to west over people of diverse civilisations.

(ii) Great was his administrative capabilities, power and his ways and means which he used for justice and righteousness.

(iii) He always remembered that his power and capabilities were a gift from the almighty Lord (Allah).

(iv) Qarn means distinctive capabilities while Dhul means (two): Accordingly, Dhul Qarnayn stands for a person who had two distinctive capabilities: Expertise in the worldly affairs and proximity to (Allah).

> ” So he followed a route”: (85)

> ” Until he reached a place where the sun sets, he found it setting in a muddy lake, and near it he found a people. We said: O Dhul Qarnayn, either punish them or treat them with kindness”: (86)

> ” He said: As to him who is unjust we will chastise him, then he will be brought back to his Lord, and He will chastise him with a grievous chastisement”: (87)

> ” But as for him who believes and does good, he shall have a goodly recompense; and we will speak to him, of Our command, (something) easy”: (88)

Flag 4: Dhul Qarnayn to the West (Macedonia): (Kahf-18: 85-88) 

Note: 

(i) Dhul Qarnayn’s first expedition to West (Probable existing location: Ochrida-Macedonia) where he protected the weak and punished the unlawful and the turbulent. 

> ” Then he followed (another) route”: (89) 

> ” Until he reached the place of the rising sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not provided any shelter against it”: (90) 

> ” Like that (he left them). Verily We had full knowledge of what was with him”: (91) 

Flag 5: Dhul Qarnayn towards East (towards rising Sun): (Kahf-18: 89-91): 

Notes: 

(i) The geographical description of the location points toward (Sub-Continent). 

(ii) He did not find a need to disturb the simple ways and living of these eastern people and left them as they were. 

> ” Then he followed (another) route”: (92)

> ” Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found upon their hither side a people who scarcely understood a word”: (93) 

> ” They said: O Dhul Qarnayn, verily Yajuj and Majuj do great mischief in the land. Shall we pay you a tax so that you may build a barrier between us and them:? (94) 

> ” He said: The power in which my Lord has established me is better, so help me with strength (manual labour), and I will build a barrier between you and them”: (95) 

> ” Bring me blocks of iron – till, when the space between the mountain-sides was filled up, He said: Blow your bellows – till, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: Bring me molten brass that I may pour over it”: (96) 

> ” Thus they could neither scale it nor dig a hole through it”: (97)

Flag 6: Dhul Qarnayn & Yajuj/Majuj (Gog & Magog): (Kahf-18: 92-97) 

Note: 

(i) Probable location (Armenia/Azerbaijan) and the task was closing a narrow gap between mountains to permanently stop the invaders. 

(ii) Dhul Qarnayn using his management and technical skills (a gift of Allah) executed the job free of charge using local labour force and available supplies and materials: ending up with an impregnable defence. 

(iii) Only thing he availed in return was turning the locals toward (Allah). 

> ” He said: This is mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes to pass, He will level it; and the promise of my Lord is true”: (98) 

Flag 7: Dhul Qarnayn: Mission, Deeds & Prophecy : (Kahf-18: 83-98) 

> ” We will let some of them to move to and fro (in confusion), surging upon each other, on that day; and the trumpet will be blown; then We will gather them all together”: (99) 

> ” On that day We shall present hell to the disbelievers, plain to (their) view”: (100) 

> ” Those whose eyes were veiled against my reminder, and who could not bear to hear”: (101) 

> ” What! Do those who disbelieve think they can take My own servants as their guardians beside Me? Verily We have prepared hell for the reception of infidels”: (102) 

> ” Say (O Muhammad): Shall We tell you who are the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds”: (103) 

> ” They are those who have lost their striving in the life of this world while they they deem they were acquiring good by their deeds”: (104) 

> ” They are those who disbelieve in the signs of their Lord and meeting with Him. Therefore vain will be their deeds, nor shall We, on the day of judgment, assign any weight to them”: (105)

> ” That is their recompense: hell, because they disbelieved and held My signs and My messengers in mockery”: (106) 

> ” Verily for those who believe and do good deeds are the gardens of paradise for their entertainment”: (107) 

> ” Where they abide forever, with no desire to be removed from there”: (108) 

> ” Say (O Muhammad): Were the sea to become ink for (writing of) the words of my Lord, surely the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord could be exhausted, even though we bring another (sea) like it to add thereto”: (109) 

> ” Say: I am only a man like you. It is revealed to me that your God is one God; therefore, whosoever desires to meet his Lord, let him do good deeds, and associate no one in the worship of his Lord”: (110)

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL 

Surah Maryam

(01-98) 

> ” Kaf, Ha, Ya, Ayn, Sad: (01) 

> ” (This is) a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zakariyya”:(02) 

> ” When he called to his Lord in low voice (with humility)”: (03) 

> ” He said: O my Lord, verily my bones are weakened, and my head glisten with hoariness, but I have never been unblest in my prayer to you, O my Lord”: (04) 

> ” Verily I fear my kindred after me, and my wife is barren, so grant me an heir from Yourself”: (05) 

> ” Who shall inherit me and inherit the family of Yakub, and make him, O my Lord, one with whom You are well pleased”: (06) 

Flag 9: Inheritance of Zakariyya, Yakub & their Clan: (Maryam-19: 06) 

Note: 

(i) Zakariyya invoked Allah to give him a son, not only the inheritor of his family but also of his ancestors (Ale-Yakub). 

(ii) Inheritance of (Fadak) to Hazrat Fatima Zehra (Given to her by the holy Prophet in her lifetime) was in accordance with Allah’s Way (Sunnat). 

> ” O Zakiryya, verily We give you glad tiding of a son, his name shall be Yahya, and We have not given that name to any one before (him)”: (07) 

Flag 10: Unique names assigned by Allah: (Maryam-19: 07)

Note:

(i) On the authority of (Ahlul Bayt): Names of Muhammad, Ali , Hasan and Hussain were also chosen for the first time under ‘Divine’ inspiration. 

> ” He said: O my Lord! How can I have a son when my wife is barren, and I have reached infirm old age”? (08) 

> ” He said: So it shall be. Your Lord says: It is easy for Me, for when I brought you into being you were nothing”: (09) 

> ” He said: O my Lord, give me a sign. He said: Your sign is that, through sound, you shall not speak to people for three nights”: (10) 

> ” Then he came forth to his people from the sanctuary, and suggested to them by signs: Glorify your Lord morning and evening”: (11) 

Flag 11: Morning & Evening Prayers Stressed: (Maryam-19: 11) 

> ” (We said): O Yahya, hold fast the book, and We gave him wisdom, while yet a child”: (12) 

Flag 12: (ilm-e-Laduni) for Yahya: (Maryam-19: 12)

Note: 

(i) While both (Isa & Yahya) were enriched with (ilm-e-laduni) by Allah; reported illiteracy attributed to (Muhammad) must be rejected outright. 

(ii) The holy Prophet’s perfection in the entire spectrum of knowledge by way of (ilm-e-laduni) is well elaborated in the verse (Najm-53: 05-06). 

(iii) On the authority of the holy Prophet: ‘I am the city of knowledge and Ali is it’s gate’: Stands as a further elaboration. 

> ” And compassion from us, and purity, and he was devout”: (13) 

> ” And duteous to his parents, and neither insolent nor disobedient”: (14) 

> ” Peace be on him the day he was born, and the day he dies, and the day he shall be raised alive”: (15) 

Flag 13: Birth of Prophet Yahya and the end just like Hussain at Karbala: (Maryam-19: 02-15)

Note: 

(i) Yahya’s mother was a barren woman. Just like Isa, Yahya’s birth was miraculous, both births being signs of Allah (Kun faya Koon). 

(ii) Yahya was given Prophethood while still a child. 

(iii) Prophet Yahaya did not live long. He was beheaded by Herod, the provincial ruler under the Roman empire, at the instigation of a woman whom Herod was infatuated with. 

(iv) The head of Yahya was presented before the depraved wife of the Egytian king and her pervert daughter. 

> ” Make mention of Maryam in the book, when she withdrew from her family to a house eastward”: (16)

> ” Then she put up a curtain (to cover herself) from them; then We sent to her our spirit, and he appeared to her exactly like sound human being”: (17) 

> ” She said: Verily I seek refuge with ARRAHMAN (the beneficent) from you, if you are God-fearing”: (18) 

> ” He said: I am only a messenger from your Lord, that I may give you a holy son”: (19) 

> ” She said: How can I have a son while no man has touched me, neither have I been unchaste”: (20) 

> ” He said so it shall be. Your Lord says: It is easy for Me, and that We shall make him a sign for people and a mercy from Us. It is matter already decreed”: (21) 

> ” So she conceived him, and retired with him to a remote place”: (22) 

Flag 14: Maryam: (Maryam-19: 16-22)

> ” The birth-pangs led her to the trunk of a palm-tree. Would that I had died before this, she said, and had been a thing forgotten, lost in oblivion”! (23) 

> ” Then (a voice) called her from beneath her: Do not grieve; verily Your Lord has made a river flow right below you”: (24) 

> ” Shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards yourself , it will drop fresh and ripe dates on you”: (25) 

> ” So eat and drink and cool (your) eye. If you see any human being, say: Verily I have vowed a fast to ARRAHMAN (the beneficent), and I shall not speak to anyone today”: (26) 

> ” Then she came with him to her people, carrying him. They said: O Maryam! Indeed you have done a strange thing”! (27) 

> ” O Sister of Harun, your father was not a bad man, nor your mother was unchaste woman”: (28) 

Flag 15: Maryam described as sister of Harun: Why? (Maryam-19: 28)

Note: 

(i) Zakariyya’s wife and Maryam were descendents of Harun, therefore, in accordance with tradition described as a sister of the head of family. 

(ii) Maryam’s father was Imran. Also Prophet Musa’s father and Imam Ali’s fahter (Abu Talib) are also known as Imran. 

> ” Then she pointed out to him. They said: How can we speak to one who is only a child in the cradle?”: (29) 

> ” (Isa) said: Verily I am a servant of Allah. He has given me a book and made me a prophet”: (30) 

Flag 16: Isa Speaks from the Cradle: (Maryam-19: 30) 

> ” And He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and He has enjoined on me salat and zakat as long as I live”: (31) 

> ” And duteous to my mother, and He has not made me insolent, unblest”: (32)

> ” And peace be on me the day I was born, and day I die, and the day I shall be raised again”: (33) 

> ” This is Isa son of Maryam; (it is) a statement of truth about which they dispute”: (34) 

> ” Allah is not one to take himself a son. Glory be to Him. When He decrees a matter He only says ‘Be’ and it is”: (35) 

> ” (Say): Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him, this is the right way” : (36) 

> ” The sects differed among themselves, and woe to those who disbelieved in the meeting of a great day”: (37) 

> ” How clearly shall they hear, and how clearly shall they see, on the day when they come to Us; but the unjust on this day are in manifest error”: (38) 

> ” Warn of the day of intense regret when the matter shall have been decreed while yet they are in negligence, and they do not believe”: (39) 

> ” Verily We shall inherit the earth and whatsoever is on it, and to Us they shall be returned”: (40) 

Flag 17: Birth of Prophet Isa: (Maryam-19: 23-40)

> ” (Also) mention Ibrahim in the book. Verily He was a man of truth, a prophet”: (41) 

> ” (Remember) When he said to his father: O my father, why do you worship that which neither hears you nor sees, nor even benefits you the least”? (42) 

> ” O my father, verily to me has come the knowledge which has not come to you, so follow me. I will guide you to the right path”: (43) 

> ” O my father, do not worship Shaytan. Verily Shaytan was disobedient to AR RAHMAN”: (44) 

> ” O my father, verily I fear a chastisement from AR RAHMAN will touch you, so that you become a friend of Shaytan”: (45) 

> ” He said: Do you incite me against my Gods, O Ibrahim. If you do not desist, I will certainly stone you to death. So go away from me for a good long while”: (46) 

> ” (Ibrahim) said: Peace be on you. I will pray to my Lord to forgive you. Verily He is most gracious to me”: (47) 

> ” I withdraw from you and what you call upon beside Allah, I call upon my Lord; haply in praying to my Lord I shall not be unblest”: (48) 

> ” When he had withdrawn from them and what they worshiped beside Allah, We gave him Ishaque and Yaqub; and We made each one of them a prophet”: (49) 

> ” And We bestowed on them Our mercy, and assigned to them a sublime and true renown”: (50) 

Flag 18: Prophet Ibrahim to his father: (Maryam-19: 41-50)

Note:

(i) The assigning of ‘sublime and true renown’ in this verse refers to Ali Ibn Abu Talib (truthful tongue). 

(ii) Parents of Ibrahim were believers. Azar was patriarch of his tribe and his uncle. He bought up Ibrahim since childhood. 

> ” (Also) mention Musa in the book. Verily he was freed (from all impurities), and he was a messenger and prophet”: (51) 

> ” We called him from the right side of the mount (Sinai), and made him draw near (to Us) for communication”: (52) 

> ” And out of Our mercy, We gave him his brother Harun, (also) a prophet”: (53) 

Flag 19: Prophet Musa & Prophet-hood of Harun: (Maryam-19: 51-53) 

Note: 

(i) Nabi: (Prophet) who receives communication from Allah. 

(ii) Rasul (Messenger): Sent to mankind by Allah to convey His message. 

(iii) Every (Rasul) is necessarily a (Nabi); but every (Nabi) is not necessarily a (Rasul). 

> ” (Also) mention Ismail in the book.Verily he was (ever) true of his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet”: (54) 

> ” He used to enjoin on his family salat and zakat, and his Lord was well pleased with him”: (55)

> ” (Also) mention Idris in the book. Verily he was a truthful prophet”: (56)

> ” And We raised him to an exalted station”: (57) 

Flag 21: Prophet Idris: (Maryam-19: 56-57) 

Note: 

(i) Prophet Idris was the Grandfather of the father of Nuh: and son of grandson of Prophet Shithe. He was born a hundred years after the death of Adam He introduced the art of writing, weights and measures and tailoring to mankind. He was also well versed in the science of astronomy. 

> ” These are they on whom Allah did bestow His bounties, from among the prophets, of the posterity of Adam, and of those whom We bore (in the ark) with Nuh, and of the posterity of Ibrahim and Israil, and of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the signs of ARRAHMAN were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping”: (58) 

> ” But there followed after them a posterity who neglected salat and followed lusts, therefore they shall soon meet perdition”: (59) 

> ” Except he who repented and believed and did good, then these shall enter paradise and they shall not be dealt with unjustly in anything”: (60) 

> ” Gardens of eternity, which ARRAHMAN has promised to His servants, unseen. Verily His promise shall come to pass”: (61) 

Flag 22: Understand (Ghaib-Unseen) Paradise & Hell:Gardens of Eternity: (Maryam-19: 61-63)

Note: 

(i) The word (Ghaib) above signifies that the true realities about (Paradise & Hell) are beyond the earthly understanding or perceptions. The general descriptions about these (in various verses) are figurative only. 

> ” They will not hear any vain discourse therein, but only ‘Peace’; and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening”: (62) 

> ” This is the garden which We shall cause those of Our servants to inherit who safeguarded themselves against evil with full awareness of divine laws”: (63) 

Flag 23: The Posterity of Adam: (Maryam-19: 58-63)

> “(The angels say to the Holy Prophet): We do not come down save by command of your Lord. His is whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these; and your Lord does not ever forget – >>>” : (64) 

>>> ” The Lord of the heavens and earth and whatever is between them; So worship Him; and be steadfast in His worship. Do you know of any who is worthy of the same name as He”? (65) 

Flag 24: Angels to the Holy Prophet: (Maryam: 64-65)

> ” And man says: What! When I am dead, shall I really be brought forth alive”? (66) 

> ” What! does not man call to mind that We created him before when he was nothing”? (67) 

> ” So, by your Lord, We shall most certainly gather them together, and (also) the devils; We shall certainly bring them crawling on their knees around hell”: (68)

> ” Then We shall certainly pull out of every group those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against ARRAHMAN”: (69) 

> ” Verily We know best those who deserve most to be burnt (in hell)”: (70)

> ” There is not one of you but shall come to it; this is decisive decree of your Lord”: (71) 

Flag 25: Each Soul to See and Pass over the Fire (Proverbial Pull-e-Sirat: by Tradition): (Maryam-19: 71-72)

Note: 

(i) Passing over, or by, or through fire decreed by the Lord. 

(ii) While true faithfuls shall be helped to overcome the disaster by Allah, others shall face the decreed consequences. 

(iii) The first and foremost being exempted from this test and trial (Anbiya-21: 101) 

> ” Then We shall deliver those who safeguarded themselves against evil with full awareness of divine laws, and We will leave the unjust therein fallen on their knees”: (72) 

> ” When our clear signs are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in position? Which is the best in assembly”? (73)

Flag 26: Wealth/Children versus Good Deeds? What is Best? (Maryam-19: 73 & 75-76)

> ” How many a generation We destroyed before them, who were (even) better in wealth and splendour”: (74) 

> ” Say (O Muhammad): Whosoever is in the error, ARRAHMAN shall verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold what they were promised, either chastisement (in this world), or the hour (of doom), they shall know who is worst in position and who is weakest in forces”: (75) 

Flag 27:The unjust crawling on their knees around hell: (Maryam-19: 66-75)

> ” Allah increases in guidance those who are guided aright; and abiding good deeds are better with your Lord for recompense, and best in respect of return”: (76) 

> ” Have you seen him who disbelieves in our signs and says: I shall surely be given wealth and children”: (77) 

> ” Has he obtained the knowledge of the unseen, or has he taken a covenant from ARRAHMAN”? (78) 

> ” By no means! We will write down what he says; and We will lengthen for him the length of chastisement”: (79) 

> ” We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake (his wealth and children), and he shall come before us all alone”: (80) 

> ” They have taken gods beside Allah that they shall be a source of strength to them”: (81) 

> ” By no means! Soon they shall disavow their worship, and become their adversaries”: (82) 

> ” What! Do you not see that We have sent devils against the disbelievers to incite them with an incitement”: (83) 

> ” So make no haste against them. We count out for them a (limited) number (of days)”: (84) 

Flag 28: Disbelievers & associated gods: Each others adversary: (Maryam-19: 77-84)

> ” The day We shall gather those, who safeguard themselves against evil, before ARRAHMAN, like honoured guests”: (85) 

Flag 29: Allah’s Honoured Guests: (Maryam-19: 85) 

> ” And shall drive the guilty into hell like (thirsty) cattle (driven to water)”: (86) 

Flag 30: Guilty Driven to Hell Like Cattle: (Maryam-19: 71-72 & 86)

> “They shall have no power of intercession, save he who has taken a covenant from ARRAHMAN”: (87)

Flag 31: Intercession: Who has a covenant from Allah to Intercede? (Maryam-19: 87) 

Note: 

(i) None can intercede without Allah’s permission (Baqarah-2: 255)

(ii) Those who have taken a promise from the Merciful (Maryam-19: 87) 

(iii) Who the Merciful has given permission and whose word He accepts (Taha-20: 109) 

(iv) There is no intercession save after His permission (Yunus-10: 03) 

(v) Arrahaman shall be pleased to accept their word (Taha-20: 109) 

> ” They say: ARRAHMAN has taken a son”: (88) 

> ” Indeed you have put forth a (most) monstrous thing:! (89) 

> ” The heavens might almost burst thereat, and the earth split asunder, and the mountains fall in pieces”: (90) 

> ” That they should ascribe to ARRAHMAN a son”: (91) 

> ” When it does not behove ARRAHMAN that he should have a son”: (92)

> ” There is none in the heavens and the earth but must come to ARRAHMAN as a servant “: (93) 

> ” Verily He has an account of them and numbered them with (exact) numbering”: (94) 

> ” Everyone of them shall come before Him all alone on the day of resurrection”: (95) 

Flag 32: How grave is the crime of ascribing a son to Allah:? Each & every soul answerable individually: (Maryam-19: 88-95)

> ” Verily those who believe and do good deeds ARRAHMAN will appoint for them love” : (96) 

Flag 33: Love of (Ahlul Bayt): (Maryam-19: 96)

(i) Allah’s promise to inculcate love of (Ahlul Bayt) in the hearts of doers of good deed {Say (O Muhammad): I do not ask of you any recompense for it (the toils of prophet-ship) save love of my relatives>>>”: (Rad-42: 23)} 

> ” So We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, that you may thereby give glad tidings to those who safeguard themselves against evil, and warn thereby the people who are contentious”: (97)

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL 

Surah Taha

(01-135)

> ” Ta Ha”: (01) 

> ” We have not sent down the Quran to you (O Muhammad) that you worry yourself”: (02) 

> ” But a reminder to him who fears (Allah) -“: (03) 

> ” A sending down from Him Who created the earth and the heavens, an elevated region”: (04) 

> “The beneficent, firm in His authority (arsh)”: (05) 

> ” To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens, and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is in between, and whatsoever is beneath the soil”: (06) 

> ” And if you speak the word loud (or whisper), verily He knows (what) is secret and (what is yet) more hidden”: (07) 

> ” Allah! There is no God but He. To Him belongs the most beautiful (excellent) names”: (08) 

Flag 35: No god But God (Allah) to Whom belong the Excellent names (Isma’ul-Husna): Know, Understand your Lord & take Heed? (Taha-20: 02-08) 

> ” Has the story of Musa come to you”: (09) 

> ” When he saw a fire he said to his family: Wait here , verily I perceive a fire; haply I may bring you a brand from it, or I may find some guidance at the fire”: (10) 

> ” So when he came to it, a voice called out: O Musa”! (11) 

> ” Verily I, I am your Lord, so take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa”: (12) 

Flag 36: Musa in sacred valley of Tuwa: Command to take off shoes: (Taha-20: 09-12)

Note: 

(i) Taking off shoes at sacred places such as Mosques, Imam Bargah, etc, is Allah’s Way (Sunnat). 

> ” I have chosen you, so hearken you to what is revealed”: (13) 

Flag 37: Allah’s unrestrained Bounty to Musa: (Taha-20: 09-13)

(i) Khuda ke Deyn ka Musa se puchh’ey Ahwal 

(Ask Musa about Allah’s Bounty! out of nowhere?) 

Key Aag leney ko jaen Payambary mil jaye! 

(Landing with Prophet-hood while in search of fire to kindle his own fire)

> ” Verily I , I am Allah. There is no god but I, so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance”: (14) 

> ” Surely the hour (of trial) is coming , but I will to keep it hidden, in order that every soul may be recompensed as it strives”: (15) 

> ” Therefore do not let him who does not believe in it and follows his own desires, turn you away from it, lest you perish”: (16) 

Flag 38: Allah’s very first Commands to Musa: (Taha-20: 14-16) 

> “What is this in your right hand (O Musa)”: (17) 

> ” He said: This is my staff, I lean on it, and I beat down leaves for my sheep with it, and I have other uses for therein”: (18) 

> ” Allah said: Cast it down O Musa”: (19) 

> ” So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent running”: (20) 

> ” Allah said: Catch it, and do not fear; We shall revert it to its former state”: (21)

> ” And put your hand in your armpit, it shall come forth white without any harm – as another sign -“:(22) 

> ” That We may show you of Our greater signs (miracles)”: (23)

Flag 39: Musa gets Signs: (Taha-20: 17-23)

> ” Go to Firawn! Verily he has transgressed all bounds”: (24)

> ” Musa said: O my Lord! Expand for me my breast”: (25) 

> ” And make my task easy for me”: (26) 

> ” And loose the knot from my tongue”: (27) 

> ” That they may understand my speech”: (28) 

> ” And appoint a vizier for me from my family”: (29) 

> ” Harun my brother”: (30) 

> ” Strengthen my back with him”: (31) 

> ” And associate him in my affairs”: (32) 

> ” That we may glorify You much”: (33) 

> ” And remember You much”: (34) 

> ” Verily You are ever seeing us”: (35) 

> ” Allah said: Granted is your prayer O Musa”: (36) 

Flag 40: Musa’s Submissions Granted: Harun appointed his Vizier (2nd in Command): (Taha-20: 24-36)

> ” Verily We conferred Our favour on you another time”: (37) 

Flag 41: Earlier Favour to Musa: (Taha-20: 37)

(i) Refers to Musa’s escape after unintentional killing an Egyptian who was smiting an Israelite. 

> ” When We inspired to your mother that which was inspired”: (38) 

> ” Cast him in a chest, and cast it in the river, and the river shall throw him on the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I cast down upon you love from Me, so that you might be brought up before My eyes”: (39)

> ” When your sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will take care of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eyes might be cooled, and she might not grieve. And you killed a man, and We delivered you from grief, and We tried you with a heavy trial. Then you sojourned for several years with the people of Midian. Then you came (hither) as ordained O Musa”: (40) 

Flag 42: Musa’s Birth & Growing-up in Firawn’s house Allah’s Watch: (Taha-20: 38-40)

> ” And I have chosen you for Myself”: (41) 

Flag 43: Allah Chose Musa: (Taha-20: 41) 

> “Go, you and your brother, with my signs, and do not slacken, either of you in remembering me “: (42) 

Flag 44: No Slackness in remembering Allah is the Key: (Taha-20: 42) 

> ” Go both of you, to Firawn; Verily He has transgressed all bounds”: (43) 

> ” Speak to him, both of you, a gentle word, haply he may be admonished; or may fear”: (44) 

Flag 45: Allah’s Guidelines for Initiation of Dialogue: Gentle Words to start with: (Taha-20: 43-48) 

Note: 

(i) Use of force for achieving the objectives to be the last option. 

> ” The two said: O Our Lord! Verily We fear lest he may be aggressive against us or become violent: (45) 

> ” Allah said: Do not fear I am verily with you; I hear and see”: (46) 

> ” So go to him and say: Verily We are two messengers of our Lord, so send forth the children of Israil with us, and do not torment them. Indeed We have brought you signs from your Lord; and peace will be on him who follows the guidance”: (47) 

> ” Verily it has been revealed to us that the chastisement shall befall him who belies and turns away”: (48) 

> ” Firawn said: Who is the Lord of you two, O Musa”? (49) 

> ” Musa said: Our Lord is He who gave to everything its (natural) form, and then guided it aright”: (50) 

Flag 46: The initiation of life on earth and evolutionary process: (Taha-20: 49- 50) 

(i) The very first genetic activity and subsequent natural evolutionary cycle is referred to herein. 

> ” Firawn said: What then is the state of the former generations”? (51) 

> ” The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget”: (52)

> ” (it is) He who made the earth a bed for you, and paths therein for you, and sent down water from heaven. Thereby We brought forth through it various kinds of vegetation”: (53) 

> ” Eat and Pasture your cattle; verily there are signs in these for those who are endowed with understanding”: (54) 

> ” We created you (from the earth) and into it We will return you, We will bring you forth from it a second time”: (55) 

Flag 47: The Second Creation: (Taha-20: 55) 

Note: 

(i) The state of life on resurrection (second creation) to be the same as on the first creation. 

> ” We verily did show him Our signs, all of them, but he belied them and refused (to believe)”: (56) 

Flag 48: Firawn’s disregard of Allah’s Signs: (Taha-20: 51-56) 

> ” Firawn said: Have you come to us O Musa, to drive us out of our land with your sorcery”? (57) 

> ” Then surely we can produce sorcery like thereof, so appoint a tryst between us and you which we will not fail to keep – neither we nor you – in a place alike (to us both)”: (58) 

> ” Musa said: Your tryst is the day of festival, and let the people assemble in the broad day light of the forenoon”: (59) 

> ” So Firawn withdrew and settle his stratagem, then he came back”: (60) 

> ” Musa said to them: Woe to you! Do not forge a lie against Allah, lest He destroys you by (some) chastisement. He who forges a lie fails miserably”: (61)

> ” Then they disputed, one with another, over their affair, and they kept their counsel secrete”: (62) 

> ” They said:These two are surely sorcerers who intend to drive you out from your land by their sorcery and do away with your most exemplary traditions”: (63)

> ” So prepare your strategy and come in an (organised) order; and he shall succeed to day who shall have an upper hand”: (64) 

> ” They said: Either you cast (your rod), O Musa, or we shall cast our (our cords) first”: (65) 

> ” He said: No. You cast (your cords) first. Then lo! their cords and rods were made to appear to him by their sorcery as if they were running”: (66) 

> ” Then Musa felt a fear in himself”: (67) 

> ” We said; Do not fear. Verily you shall be victorious”: (68) 

> ” Cast down what is in your right hand. It will swallow up what they have wrought. Verily they have wrought only a sorcerer’s stratagem, and a sorcerer does not succeed (no matter) from whatsoever (skilled group) he may come”: (69)

> ” Then the sorcerers fell down in prostration, saying: We believe in the Lord of Harun and Musa”: (70) 

> ” Firawn said: Believe you in him before I give you leave? Verily he is your chief who has taught you sorcery, so I shall cut off your hands and feet from the opposite sides, and shall surely crucify you on the trunks of the palm-trees, then will you certainly know which of us is more severe in (inflicting) torment, and more lasting”: (71) 

> ” They said: Never shall we prefer you to that which has come to us of the clear signs, and to Him who created us, so decree whatever you will decree; you can only decree (about) the life of this world”: (72) 

> ” Verily we! We believe in our Lord, that He may forgive us our sins and the sorcery to which you did force us; Allah is best and most abiding”: (73) 

> ” Verily he who comes guilty to his Lord, for him is hell. He shall not die therein nor shall he live”: (74) 

> ” And whosoever comes to him a believer, who has done good deeds – then these! For them are high ranks “: (75) 

> ” Gardens of eternity, beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. This is the recompense of him who purifies himself (from evil)”: (76) 

Flag 49: No turning away from Allah for the true believers: (Taha-20: 70-76) 

> ” Verily We revealed to Musa (saying):Travel by night with My servants, and strike a dry path for them in the sea, fearing not to be overtaken (by Firawn), neither being afraid (of the sea)”: (77) 

> ” Firawn followed them with his hosts; and there came upon them of the sea that which covered (drowned) them”: (78) 

> ” And Firawn led his people astray, and he did not rightly guide them”: (79) 

Flag 50: Firawn drove himself & his people to a Dead-end: Allah’s Signs denied: (Taha-20: 51-71 & 77-79) 

> ” O children of Israil! We rescued you from your enemy, and We made a covenant with you on the right side of the mount and We sent down for you manna and quails”: (80) 

> ” (Saying): Eat of the good things We have provided you and do not transgress therein lest My wrath falls upon you; and on whomsoever My wrath falls, he surely perishes”: (81) 

> ” Verily I forgive again and again whosoever repents and believes and does good, and then continues to follow the right guidance”: (82) 

Flag 51: Recounting favours on the children of Israil and warning: (Taha-20: 80-82)

> ” (Allah said) What made you hasten from your people O Musa”? (83) 

> ” Musa said: they are close on my track, and I hastened to You, O my Lord, that You may be well pleased (with me)”: (84)

> ” Allah said: Verily We have tried your people in your absence, and Samiri has led them astray”: (85) 

> ” So Musa returned to his people, angry and sad, He said: O my people did not your God promise you a goodly promise? Did then promise seem too long to you? Or did you wish that wrath from your Lord should fall upon you, that you violated the tryst with me”? (86) 

> ” They said: We did not violate the tryst with you of our own will, but we were made to bear the burdens of the ornaments of the people, so we cast them (in the fire), and that was what Samiri suggested”: (87) 

> “Then he brought out for them (the image of) a calf, a (mere) body which gave forth a lowing sound. Then they said: This is your god and the god of Musa, but he (Musa) has forgotten”: (88) 

> ” What! See they not that it could not return to them a single word; and it could neither hurt nor benefit them?” (89) 

> ” And Haroon indeed had told them earlier: O my people! Verily you are being tried with this. Verily your lord is ARRAHMAN so follow me and obey my command”: (90) 

> ” They said: We shall by no means cease to be its worshippers till Musa returns to us”: (91) 

> ” Musa said: O Harun, what hindered you, when you saw them going astray”: (92) 

> ” From following me? Have you then disobeyed my order”? (93) 

> ” Harun said: O son of mother, seize me not by my beard nor by my head, I was afraid you may say: You have caused division among the children of Israil, and did not respect my word”? (94) 

> ” Musa said: What was your object, O Samiri”? (95) 

> ” Samiri said: I saw what they did not see; so I took a handful (of dust) from the tracks of the messenger (Jibrail) and threw it (into the image of the calf), thus did myself prompt me”: (96) 

> ” Musa said: Begone you. Verily it shall be yours in this life to say: Touch me not! (Moreover) you have a tryst (of punishment) that will not fail. Look at your god which you worship so long. We shall certainly burn it, and then we shall surely scatter it in the sea a (wide) scattering”: (97) 

Flag 52: Analogy between Musa’s Samiri & Hypocrites (Munafiqin) after the holy Prophet: (Taha-20: 85-97)

Note: 

(i) Hypocrites (Munafiqin) had a replay of Samairi episode after the holy prophet which, ultimately, ended up in (Umayyad) being installed in power. 

(ii) Thus, the Holy Prophet’s dream (Bani-Isaril-17: 60) turned into a reality.

> ” Verily your God is only Allah; there is no god but He; He comprehends all things in (His) knowledge”: (98) 

Flag 53: No god but God (Allah): All comprehending & all-knowing: (Taha-20: 98) 

> ” Thus do We relate to you (O Muhammad) accounts of what has gone before, and indeed, We have given you a reminder from Ourselves”: (99) 

> ” Whosoever turns away from it shall surely bear a burden on the day of resurrection”: (100) 

> ” Abiding under it. Grievous will it be for them on the day of resurrection”: (101)

> ” The day when the trumpet shall be blown, and We shall gather the guilty on that day (with their) eyes (turned) blue (blind)”: (102) 

> ” In whispers will they consult each other: You tarried not but ten days”: (103) 

> ” We know best what they will say when the most ideal in conduct among them will say: You have not tarried but a day”: (104) 

> ” The will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust”: (105) 

> ” Then He will leave it (the earth) a plain, level”: (106) 

> ” You shall not see in it any crookedness or unevenness”: (107) 

> ” On that day they shall follow summoner (straight); no crookedness (can they show) him, and the voices shall be lowered before ARRAHMAN, and you shall not hear a sound but the lightest footfall”: (108) 

> ” On that day no intercession shall be of any service other than his whom ARRAHMAN grants permission, and whose word He is pleased to accept”: (109) 

Flag 54: To whom ARRAHMAN will grant permission for Intercession: (Taha-20: 109) 

Note: 

(i) Refers to those thoroughly purified by Allah himself (Ahzab-33: 33) 

(ii) None can intercede without Allah’s permission (Baqarah-2: 255) 

(iii) Those who have taken a promise from the Merciful (Maryam-19: 87) 

(iv) Who the Merciful has given permission and whose word He accepts (Taha-20: 109) 

(v) There is no intercession save after His permission (Yunus-10: 03) 

(vi) Arrahaman shall be pleased to accept their word (Taha-20: 109) 

> ” He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they do not comprehend it with (their) knowledge”: (110) 

> ” All faces shall be humbled before the ever-living, the self-subsisting, and whosoever bears a load of iniquity will certainly be disappointed”: (111) 

> ” And whosoever does good deeds, and is a believer, shall not fear injustice, nor any curtailment (of what is due)”: (112) 

Flag 55: The Day Trumpet shall be Blown: (Taha-20: 99-112)

> ” Thus have We sent down (to you, O Muhammad) an Arabic Quran, and explained therein some of the threats, that they may safeguard themselves against evil, or that it may serve as a reminder to (warn) them”: (113) 

> ” High above all is Allah, the king, the truth. Do not hasten with the Quran before its revelation is completed to you; and say: O my Lord! Increase me in knowledge”! (114) 

Flag 56: O My Lord! Increase me in Knowledge: (Taha-20: 113-114) 

> ” Verily We had covenanted with Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him any intention (to disobey Us)”: (115) 

Flag 57: Allah’s Covenant with Adam: Their Sin (his & wife’s) being un-intentional: (Taha-20: 115)

> ” When We said to angels: Prostrate yourself before Adam: they prostrated themselves, but Iblis did not, he refused”: (116) 

Flag 58: Iblis’s Refusal to Prostrate to Adam: (Taha-20: 116) 

> ” Then We said: O Adam! Verily, this is an enemy to you and your wife, therefore let him not drive you two out of the garden, (then) you shall have to toil”: (117) 

> ” Verily it is ordained that therein you shall not go hungry nor shall you be naked”: (118) 

> ” Nor shall you be thirsty, nor shall you feel the heat of the sun”: (119) 

Flag 59: Climatic & Living Environment in ‘Adam’s Paradise’ & the Science: (Taha-20: 117-119)

Note: 

(i) No physical exertion, no food and water requirements, no hot or cold feeling (no temperature sensitivity). 

(ii) On the basis of the above, it can be safely assumed that Adam’s existence in the Paradise (Taha-20: 117-119) was not of the earthly physical nature as we know it today. 

(iii) The nature of life in the Paradise described above is beyond human perception & contemporary knowledge (science). 

> ” But Shaytan whispered to him, saying: O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and a kingdom that never decays?” : (120) 

> ” Then the twain ate thereof, so their nakedness appeared to them, and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden. And Adam did not act (as advised by) his Lord and (in his search for the pleasure of his Lord) made a mistake”: (121) 

> ” Then his Lord chose him and turned to him (on his repentance) and guided him” : (122) 

Flag 60: Adam Chosen as Prophet on being Repentant & Sent to Earth: (Taha-20: 120-122)

> ” Allah said: Go down hence , both of you, together, one the enemy of the other. Then guidance will surely come to you from Me; and whoever follows my guidance shall not go astray nor come to grief”: (123) 

Flag 61: Landing of Adam & Iblis (as Shaytan) on earth: Allah’s promise of on-going guidance to Adam: (Taha-20-123)

> ” But whosoever turns away from My admonition, his livelihood (means) shall be restricted; and on the day of judgement We shall raise him blind”: (124) 

> ” He shall say: O my Lord ! Why have you raised me blind, whereas surely I was able to see”? (125) 

> ” Allah will say: So (it must be) because Our signs came to you and you ignored them, so (in like manner) you are ignored this day”: (126) 

> ” And thus shall We recompense him who transgressed and does not believe in the signs of his Lord; surely the torment of hereafter shall be far more severe and more lasting”: (127) 

> ” What! Is it not a guidance for them (to know) how many generation We destroyed before them, amid whose dwellings they now walk? Verily, there are signs in this for those who are are endued with understanding”: (128)

> ” And had not a word from your Lord not gone forth, their arrest would have immediately ensued; and the term of respite is determined”: (129) 

Flag 62: Disbelievers to be raised blind: (Taha-20: 124-129)

> ” So bear with patience what they say, and glorify the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and glorify Him some hours of the night and during parts of the day, that you may obtain the pleasure (of your Lord)”: (130) 

Flag 63: Prayer Timings: (Taha-20: 130)

> ” Do not strain your eyes towards that which We have given for enjoyment to parties of them, the splendor of the life of this world, so that We may try them in it. The provision of your Lord is better and more lasting”: (131) 

Flag 64: Splendour of Worldly Life is a Trial: (Taha-20: 131) 

> ” Enjoin prayer (salat) on your followers, and adhere steadily to it. We do not ask you to provide (subsistence), (it is) We who give you subsistence; and the (good of) the hereafter is for those who safeguard themselves against evil with full awareness of divine laws”: (132) 

Flag 65: Subsistence is from Allah alone: (Taha-20: 132) 

> ” They say: Why does he not bring a sign from His Lord. What! Has there not come to them the clear evidence which is in the former scriptures”: (133) 

> ” And had We destroyed them with a chastisement before him (Muhammad) they would certainly have said: O Our Lord! Why did you not send to us a messenger? Then we would have followed Your signs before being humbled and disgraced”: (134)

> ” Say (O Muhammad): Each one (of us) is waiting, so you wait. You will soon come to know who have been the followers of the even path and who has been rightly guided”: (135)
