IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL

Surah Adh Dhariyat

(51: 31-60)

> ” He said: What is your errand, O messengers”? (31)

> ” They said: We have been sent to a sinful people”: (32)

> ” So as to send down upon them stones of clay”: (33)

> ” Marked by your Lord for those who transgress all bounds”: (34)

> ” Then We brought forth from therein who were believers”: (35)

> ” But We did not find more than a single house of believers therein”: (36)

> ” We left a sign therein for those who fear a painful chastisement”: (37)

Flag 1: The sinful people of Lut: Only signs of chastisement survived: (Dhariyat-51: 31-37)

> ” And in Musa (also was a sign), when We sent him to Firawn with manifest authority”: (38)

> ” But (Firawn) turned away with his forces and said: (He is) a sorcerer or a mad man”: (39)

> ” So We seized him with his hosts, and threw him into the sea, for he was blameable”: (40)

> ” In Ad (also was a sign), when We sent a blasting wind against them”: (41)

> ” It left nothing on which it came, but turned it into ashes”: (42)

> ” And the Thamud (also was a sign) when it was said to them: Enjoy yourself for a while”: (43)

> ” But they rebelled against the command of their Lord, so a thunderbolt sized them while they were looking on”: (44)

> ” Then they could not even stand up nor could they help themselves”: (45)

> ” And (We destroyed) the people of Nuh before (them). Verily they were wicked people”: (46)

Flag 2: Recalling destruction of other rebellious disbelievers: (Dhariyat-51: 38-46)

> ” We built the heavens with might, and verily We are the Lord of power and expanse”: (47)

> ” We spread the earth (like a carpet) – an excellent spreader (We are)”: (48)

Flag 3: Allah: The Creator of the Heavens, a habitable earth and the Lord of power and expanse: (Dhariyat-51: 47-48)

> ” And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate”: (49)

Flag 4: Allah’s Creations in Pair: (Dhariyat-51: 49: Yasin-36: 36: Zukhruf-43:12)

Note:

(i) Sex is an integral component amongst humans, animals, plants, water-based creations, etc.

(ii) The manifest pairing and sexual inter-phase, known and unknown, stands out as Allah’s most fascinating sign.

(iii) The material world and various kinds of energies also work in pairs bearing opposite characteristics.

(iv) The contemporary scientific understanding of pairing and sex-related factors is far from being perfect.

(v) There is every possibility that another earth is discovered to complete the pairing.

> ” So fly (hasten) to Allah. Verily I am a plain warner unto you from Allah”: (50)

> ” Do not set up another god with Allah. Verily I am a plain warner unto you from Allah”: (51)

> ” Likewise, there came not a messenger unto those before them but they said: A sorcerer or a mad man”: (52)

> ” Have they passed down this from one to another? Nay, they are rebellious people” : (53)

Flag 5: Denials: Characteristically similar attitude of disbelievers with all messengers! Why? (Dhariyat-51: 52-53)

Note:

(i) Similar rebellious attitude towards Allah & His messengers had always been based on (Shaytanic) instigation to promote personal ego (urge). The desire to have best for self had always been a soft target.

(ii) The basic motivation promoted by Shaytan revolves around self or ‘ME’ alone. The children of Adam had always been fascinated by the irrepressible desire for the acquisition of superiority over others. In the language of Sub-Continental rural livelihood, the same could be summarised by the proverbial Urdu ‘3-Zs’ (Zar, Zameen, and Zun) standing respectively for wealth, land, and woman. The Shaytan wish list of motivational factors kept on enlarging with the passage of time.

(iii) Whereas the builtin Shaytan has no control over personalities other than the parent body in which he thrives; physical Shaytans, individual and/or groups are, and had always been abound, all over the earth. Such entities constitute the bodies of human beings and/or jinns who have been completely subverted by individual Shaytanic instinct and have joined hands to turn into a physical collective force on the earth.

(iv) Once Shaytan successfully achieves the objective of subverting faithfuls with regard to latent and manifest covenants, his job gets simpler. Thereafter, individuals could be easily persuaded by the builtin Shaytan to give priority to their own selves with regard to their routines. Included in the list would be disregard to all kinds of norms, including but not limited to religious, legal, fiscal, social, cultural, and humanitarian aspects: thereby inculcating rebellious lifestyle in the day to day affairs.

> ” Then turn away from them, and you are not blamed”: (54)

> ” But go on reminding them, as verily, reminding benefits the believers”: (55)

Flag 6: On-going reminder! Benefit for the Believers: (Dhariyat-51: 50-55)

> ” I did not create the Jinn and humans but to worship Me”: (56)

Flag 7: The objective of creation (Jin & Ins): Worship & Worship Allah alone: (Dhariyat-51: 56):

Note:

(i) Worshippers conforming to the conceptual requirements and the prerequisites (Foundations of and Obligations in Islam) may be identified as faithfuls. The same, however, may not be adequate to ensure Allah’s all encompassing forgiveness.

(ii) The prevailing common tendency to concentrate on (Wajibats) alone, at ever exceeding scale, while disregarding (Haqooq-al-Ibad), may not be exactly what Allah wants faithfuls to accomplish.

(iii) Allah’s Warning Flags? Let not your Worship (Ibadat) be Worthless! Be mindful of the undermentioned factors:

(iv) The disregard of covenants with Allah (Celestial realm & Worldly). Remember denials of the same constitute a revolt against Allah.

(v) Allah may at his discretion forgive all your sins except Shirk (associating anything as Allah’s partner). Have no share or even trace of (Shirk) in any form.

(vi). It is way easier to seek Allah’s forgiveness for failures in the performance of Wajibats (Haqooq-al-Allah) than seeking the same with respect to non-compliance with obligations towards humanity and human beings i,e. worldly affairs (Haqooq-al-Ibad) which can only be forgiven by the aggrieved.

Darde-Dil Key Waste Paida Kiya Insaan Ko

(Mankind was created to carry heartfelt emotions)

Warna Taa’it Key Liye Kuchh Kum Na Theh Karro Bayan

(Otherwise! there was no dearth of angels and angelic forces to render the worship)

> ” I do not desire from them any sustenance, nor I desire that they should feed Me”: (57)

> ” Verily, it is Allah who is giver of sustenance, the Lord of unbreakable power”: (58)

> ” So verily those who are unjust shall have a share (of the burden) like that of their predecessors. Therefore, let them not ask Me to hasten it”: (59)

> ” Woe, then, to those who disbelieve on account of their day which they are promised”: (60)

Flag 8: Allah the Independent: (Raziq: Sustenance Giver) and the Owner of the unbreakable Power: No hastening of the ‘Hour’: Denial consequences being in line with Allah’s Way (Sunnat) as always: (Dhariyat-51: 31-46 & 57-60)

Note:

(i) The sinful people of Lut: Only signs of chastisement survived: (Dhariyat-51: 31-37).

(ii) Recalling destruction of other rebellious disbelievers: (Dhariyat-51: 38-46).

Flag 10: Glimpse of the upheaval faced by disbelievers on the ‘Day’: (Tur-52: 09-16)

> ” But Allah has bestowed His grace on us, and has saved us from the torment of scorching wind”: (27)

> ” Verily, before this, we used to pray to Him; verily, He is benign, the merciful”: (28)

Flag 11: Allah: The benign and merciful to faithfuls: (Tur-52: 17-28)

> ” So go on reminding (O Muhammad), for, by the grace of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a mad man”: (29)

> ” Or do they say: A poet (he is) for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune”: (30)

> ” Say (O Muhammad): You wait, and verily I am, along with you, among those who are waiting”: (31)

> ” Do their deliberations prompt them to this, or they are people transgressing (beyond bounds) by nature”? (32)

> ” Or do they say: He has forged it. In fact they do not believe”: (33)

> ” Let them bring a discourse like this if they are truthful”: (34)

> ” Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they creators”: (35)

Flag 12: The ‘Divine’ & the ‘Divine Order’: Nothingness & Science: (Tur-52: 35-38)

Note:

(i) This verse refers to fundamental rule of all sciences that there is no effect if there is no cause. Nothing can come out into being out of nothing or by itself.

(ii) The Scientific Necessity: It is a scientific necessity, having an existing entity in place before it is acted upon. No scientific act can occur if there is nothing to act upon. The same logic applies to, any or all, phenomena under the umbrella of ‘Nature’ and/or any other ‘Evolutionary’ process. Based on scientific logic, nothing can emerge from an environment of ‘Nothingness’ on its own.

(iii) Scientific Dependence on Divine Existence: Looking into an alternative to the ‘Divine’ existence, based on science is an absolute non-starter. It is not possible to justify the same under evolutionary concepts. Science, therefore, requires a unique source to start the evolutionary process and, therefore, itself leads to confirmation of the ‘Divine Existence’.

(iv) Allah: The Absolute Creator (Divine): The absolute uncreated ‘Being’ and the ‘Owner’ of the source of initiation of the evolutionary process, causes, actions, and reactions pertaining to all His creations. Allah’s are the creations encompassing the entire universe inclusive of any or all the entities therein. The kingdom of Allah may be defined as His ‘Divine’ empire, with nothing else left to be recognized beyond the same.

(v) The ‘Divine Order’: Allah’s mechanism of governance may be summed up as His ‘Divine Order’.

> ” Or have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, they are certain of nothing”: (36)

> ” Or with them are treasures of your Lord? Or do they have absolute authority”: (37)

> ” Or do they have a ladder by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to the angels)? Then let their listeners bring a manifest proof”: (38)

> ” Or has He daughters and you sons”? (39)

> ” Or do you ask any recompense from them so that they are burdened with a load of debt”: (40)

> ” Is with them the unseen which they write down”? (41)

> ” Or do they intend to lay a snare? Then those who disbelieve are trapped in their evil plots”: (42)

> ” Or do they have a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah. (He is) far above from what they associate with Him: (43)

Flag 13: Any other reason (ground/basis) left unexplored on which the disbelievers could base their denials? (Tur-52: 39-43)

> ” If they should see a portion of the sky falling down, they would say: Clouds piled up”! (44)

> ” So, leave them, until they encounter their day (of doom) wherein they shall swoon (with terror)”: (45)

> ” Their devices shall not avail them in the least on that day, nor shall they be helped”: (46)

> ” Verily, for the unjust, there shall be another chastisement beside this, but most of them do not know”: (47)

Flag 14: The Holy Prophet is neither a soothsayer, nor mad, nor a poet: (Tur-52: 29-47)

Note:

(i) ‘Another chastisement’ may be a reference to the advent of the twelfth Imam.

> ” Wait patiently for the command of your Lord, for verily you are always before Our eyes, and celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise”: (48)

> ” And in the night (also) celebrate His glory; and at the setting of the sun”: (49)

Flag 15: Prayer Timings: (Tur-52:48-49)

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL

Surah An Najm

(53: 01-62)

> ” By the star when it goes down”: (01)

Flag 16: The infallibility of the Holy Prophet: Ali Ibn Abu Talib Virtues: (Najm-53: 01-03)

Note:

(i) On the authority of Ibn Abbas: One night after Isha prayers, the Holy Prophet told his companions: At dawn, tomorrow, a star will descend on the earth from heaven. On whomsoever’s house, it will come upon will be my heir, my successor, and he is the divinely commissioned guide. The star descended on Ali’s house. The hypocrites began to whisper that in the love of Ali the Holy Prophet has gone astray.

(ii) On this occasion these verses were revealed.

> ” Your companion does not err, nor does he go astray”: (02)

> ” Nor does he speak out of (his own) desire”: (03)

Flag 17: Holy Prophet’s Communications? Quran, Taurat and Injil: (Najm-53: 03)

Note:

(i) Holy Prophet does not communicate on his own: (Najm: 03).

(ii) Deuteronomy 18:18-: Then the Lord said to me (Musa): I will raise up for them a prophet like you, one of their own race, and I will put My words into his mouth. He will convey all My commands to them.

(iii) John 16:18-: (Isa said): However when he comes who is the spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but will tell only what he hears; and he will make known to you things that are coming.

> ” It is but a revelation revealed”: (04)

Flag 18: The Holy Prophet: Who communicated nothing but the ‘Divine’ will: (Najm-53: 03-04)

Note:

(i) The Holy Prophet was always in communion with Allah. Whatever he said was the word of Allah and his actions were the fulfilment of the divine will (Najm-53: 03-04).

> ” Taught him the supreme in power”: (05)

Flag 19: Muhammad in an Overview position with respect to the entire Universe: The Absolute Lord (Allah)-Holy Prophet’s only teacher: (Najm-53: 05-06)

Note:

(i) It is Allah who taught the Holy Prophet and from no mortal created being he received any kind of knowledge.

> ” (He is) endued with wisdom; therefore he took an over-viewing position”: (06)

> ” While he was in the highest horizon”: (07)

> ” Then he drew near and nearer”: (08)

> ” (Thus he) was at a distance of two bows or nearer still”: (09)

> “Then He revealed to His servant what He revealed”: (10)

> ” His heart did not belie what he saw”: (11)

> ” Will you then dispute with him what he saw”: (12)

> ” He saw him indeed in the course of another descent”: (13)

> ” At (sidratul muntaha) the lot-tree of the utmost boundary”: (14)

> ” Close to which is the garden of abode”: (15)

> ” When the lote-tree (sidra) was covered over with what it was covered over”: (16)

> ” Neither did his eye dazzle nor did they exceed the bounds”: (17)

> ” Indeed he saw the greatest signs of his Lord”: (18)

Flag 20: The Ascension (Mairaj): (Najam-53: 06-18: Bani Israil-17: 01)

Note:

(i) The holy Prophet’s ascension was physical.

(ii) During ascension the holy Prophet was able to travel at speeds unknown to contemporary Physics.

(iii) During ascension the holy Prophet passed through the boundaries of the physical realm under the Divine influence (details beyond level of human knowledge).

(iv) Descension means his reappearance in physical form.

(v) The distance (two bows or still nearer) between the ‘Divine’ and the holy Prophet described in terms of (Qaba Qawsayn) represents the ultimate closeness between the infinite and finite on an unknown scale.

(vi) No created being could ever achieve parity with the creator based on any scale. In other words, no created being could ever become a creator. Accordingly, (Qaba Qawsayn) stands as an insurmountable barrier (not possible to physically define) between the Creator (Allah) {who does not owe His existence to any creator (not possible to describe Allah beyond this)} and His created being (Abd: Servant) which is the holy Prophet.

(vii) Allah is not a created being. It is not possible to limit His existence within the framework of any kind of physical concepts and/or parameters.

(viii) Any concept of Allah’s physical place of residence or a physical proximity to Him is not applicable.

(ix) The mention of the holy Prophet seeing Allah physically or sitting with Him are spurious and must be rejected outright.

(x) The holy Prophets ascension to the farthest stage where Allah’s cognition is achieved in the highest realm of creation referred as Masjid al Aqsa, the environment of which is blessed with Allah’s signs shown to the holy Prophet (Najam-53: 10-18)

(xi) The holy Prophet had an overview of the entire universe and its function from the blessed, exalted position including, but not limited to, all happenings from beginning to the end (Resurrection).

(xii) To sum-up, based on the highly limited intellectual ability which remains prone to errors: Ascension could best be described as a Physical (not virtual), Intellectual and Visual Occurrence made possible by none other than the absolute owner of the (Kun faYa kun).

(xiii) The Holy Prophet saw the whole universe from the highest position.

(xiv) The Holy Prophet brought himself low in utmost humility before the manifest glory of the Lord of worlds, to express his gratitude for the unique divine grace.

(xv) These verses assert the infallibility of the Holy Prophet in his movement between the creator and the creation, similar to the movement of the star in its orbit.

(xvi) The first degree of realisation the Holy Prophet reached is the scene of Istiwa in the highest part of the horizon which is the highest stage of angelic forces.

(xvii) (aw adna) is the stage the Holy Prophet comes into direct communication with the infinite and absolute and receives the most important message which is known to him and his Lord.

(xviii) On the authority of Imam Jafar Sadiq: It was in this state the command relating to wilayah and imamah with finality was revealed to the Holy Prophet.

(xix) Jibrail could go no further than (sidratul muntaha) the point beyond which neither any angel nor any other created being could pass.

> ” Have you seen Lat and Uzza”: (19)

> ” And Manat, the other third (of the idols)”? (20)

> ” Are there males for you and females for Him”? (21)

> ” This indeed is an unjust apportioning”: (22)

> ” They are nothing but (mere) names which you and your fathers have devised. Allah did not send down for them any authority. They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own selves desire, even though guidance has come to them from their Lord”: (23)

Flag 21: Could there be anything more absurd and ridiculous? False gods of idolaters (lat, uzza and manat): (Najm-53: 19-23)

> ” What ! Shall man have whatsoever he wishes for”: (24)

> ” Allah’s is the last (hereafter) and the first (life of this world)”: (25)

> ” How many angels there are in the heaven whose intercession shall not avail at all save after Allah gives leave to whomsoever He wills and chooses”: (26)

> ” Verily, those who do not believe in the hereafter give the angels names of females”: (27)

> ” Yet they do not have any knowledge of it, and they follow nothing but conjecture, and, verily conjecture avails nothing against truth”: (28)

Flag 22: (Shirk: Associating anything with Allah): Conjecture versus Reality: (Najm-53: 19-30)

> ” Therefore turn away from him who turns away from Our reminder and desires nothing but the life of this world”: (29)

> ” That is the farthest limit of their knowledge. Verily, your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path and He knows best who has been rightly guided”: (30)

> ” Allah’s is whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, so that He may requite those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He may recompense those who do good, with what is best”: (31)

> ” As to those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, save the accidentally committed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He is best aware of you (from the time) when He produced you from the earth and when you are embryos in the wombs of your mother; so do not assert purity for yourselves. He knows best him who safeguards himself against evil with full awareness of (His) laws”: (32)

Flag 23: Allah knows the best: Asserting self purity of no avail: (Najm-53: 31-32)

> ” Have you seen him who has turned his back”? (33)

> ” Who gives but little and withholds his hand”? (34)

> ” Has he knowledge of the unseen so that he perceives (everything”? (35)

> ” Has he not been told of what is in the book of Musa”: (36)

> ” And of Ibrahim who fulfilled his mission”: (37)

> ” That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another”: (38)

Flag 24: Spiritual matters beyond bargaining: No bearer of burden can bear burden of another: (Najm-53: 33-41)

Note:

(i) ‘He who turns back’ refers to the deserters of the Battles of Uhud and Hunayn (Najm-53: 33)

(ii) One of the believers negotiated a deal with one of the hypocrites to take away his sins in exchange of a camel load of merchandise.verse (Najm-53: 38) refers to the same..

> ” That for man there is nothing save what he strives for”: (39)

> ” That his striving shall soon be seen”: (40)

> ” Then he shall be recompensed therefor with fullest recompense”: (41)

Flag 25: Allah’s are actions (commands) in the universe and to Him is the return of everything: (Najm-53: 42-54)

> ” And that to you Your lord is the final goal”: (42)

> ” And that verily He it is who causes (men) to laugh and causes (men) to weep”: (43)

> ” And that He it is who causes to die and causes to live”: (44)

> “That He is who creates pairs, pairs, male and female”: (45)

> ” From a drop of semen when emitted”: (46)

> ” That (incumbent) on Him is another (second) creation (raising of the dead)”: (47)

> ” That He it is who gives riches and contentment”: (48)

> ” That He it is who is the Lord of Sirius (the great star)”: (49)

> ” That He it is who destroyed the Ad of the old”: (50)

> ” And the Thamud! He did not spare (them)”: (51)

> ” (Like ) the people of Nuh before them, who were, verily, the most unjust and most transgressing”: (52)

> ” And He overthrew the subverted cities”: (53)

> ” So that they were covered by what they were covered over”: (54)

Flag 26: Is the evidence not enough? Still unsure of your existence? (Najm-53: 39-54)

> ” About which of the bounties of your Lord will you dispute”: (55)

Flag 27: Which of Allah’s Bounties will you deny? (Najm-53: 55: Rahman: 55: 13,18,21 & others)

> ” This a warner of the warners of old”: (56)

> ” The approaching (hour of reckoning) is drawing nearer”: (57)

> ” None other than Allah is there to lay it bear”: (58)

> ” Do you then wonder at this news”: (59)

> ” And laugh, and not weep”: (60)

> ” And indulge in vain pleasantries”? (61)

> ” Therefore, prostrate yourself before Allah and worship Him”: (62)

Flag 29:The splitting of the moon: (Qamar-54: 01-02)

Note:

In day to day prevailing terminology, the same may be identified as (Scientific Laws).

(ii) Science and the (Scientific Laws) are applicable to the environment of existence and are not applicable to ‘Nothingness’ and therefore in no way could be used for establishing an alternate to the ‘Divine’ existence.

(iii) Once the ‘Divine’ existence is recognised, it is easy to correlate all the known and unknown laws as Allah’s Way (Sunnat) and use of ‘Measure’ in Quran points out to the same.

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL

Surah AR Rahman

(55: 01-78)

> “AR RAHMAN”: (01)

Flag 40: AR Rahman (The Beneficent): (Rahman-55: 01)

(i) Rahmah (grace) is the root of both the words (rahman and rahim).

(ii) Rahman signifies the (all) penetrating and (all) enveloping universal grace of Allah (Beneficence) for all.

(iii) Everyone is dependent on Allah for getting his sustenance (Rizq) from Ar Rahman. Be it Musa or Firawn or Ibrahim or Nimrud: getting it without asking.

> ” (It is He who) who taught the Quran (to Muhammad)”: (02)

Flag 41: Allah: Muhammad’s only Tutor: (Rahman-55 02: Najm-53: 05)

(i) It is Allah who taught the Holy Prophet and from no mortal created being he received any kind of knowledge (Najm-53: 05).

> ” He created man”: (03)

Flag 42: Man (Insan): Allah’s superior most creation (Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqat): (Rahman-55: 03)

Note:

(i) Angels (Except Iblis) prostrated to Adam willingly on being aware of its superiority (Baqarah-2: 34).

(ii) The man (insan) referred to above is the divinely conditioned, integrated and perfected being of the holy Prophet which was invested with Adam.

(iii) All the characteristics bestowed by Allah on the holy Prophet continued in his (Ahlul Bayt with its twelve Imams in an unbroken chain).

(iv) Anyone desiring to achieve success must attach themselves with the thoroughly purified (Ahlul Bayt: Ahzab-33: 33) and follow their teachings and life pattern. Every individual has the option to do so in his own hands as stated in Quran:

> ” Indeed he (alone) succeeds who purifies himself

(Ala-87: 14)

> ” Verily he succeeds who purifies it”

(Shams-91: 09)

> ” He taught him the expression”: (04)

Flag 43: Quran: Understanding (Bayan): (Rahman-55: 04)

Note:

(i) The Quran (Bayan) the holy Prophet recited to mankind has no equal (Baqarah-2: 23:Yunus 10: 37&38:Hud-11: 13:Bani Israil-17: 88:Tur-52: 34).

(ii) On the authority of Imam Jafar Sadiq: (Bayan) is the greatest name of Allah, through which everything is known. It implies that man reflects whatever he receives from the divine source.

> ” The sun and the moon follow (exactly computed) courses”: (05)

Flag 44: Science leading to Allah’s Way (Sunnat): (Rahman-55: 05)

Note:

(i) The operation of our solar system as well as of other stars is well explained by the prevailing scientific concepts.

(ii) Science is nothing but Allah’s Way (Sunnat). However, scientific knowledge at any given time being imperfect, may not always be conclusive; which only reflects a lack of understanding of ‘Allah’s Laws’ by the children of Adam, at a given time and instance. Directionally, science is an assured indicator of Allah’s Way (Sunnat). Based on evidence and intellect, compliance to the established laws of science may, therefore, be construed obligatory, being Allah’s Way (Sunnat) overriding other considerations.

(iii) Allah’s Way (Sunnat) is not limited to the way of messengers (including that of the Holy Prophet). It includes the entire range of His laws, decrees, and commandments pertaining to the universe itself.

(iv) Simultaneously, it has also been clearly declared that no change in Allah’s Way (Sunnat) shall ever be found or discovered.

(v) Allah’s decree in a scientific language (Yasin 37-40) clearly identifies that the entire universe ceaselessly follows His decrees (full range of scientific laws) without fail.

> ” And the herbs and trees bow (to Him) in adoration”: (06)

Flag 45: Understand Prostration: (Rahman-55: 06)

Note:

(i) Prostration is an unqualified acceptance of Allah’s will and sincere surrender to Him.

(ii) In the case of human beings, physical prostration constitutes the acceptance of the same.

(iii) In case of other entities, precise functioning of creations according to the laws made by Allah is in itself prostration to Him. The same has been likened with prostration in the case of herbs and trees.

> ” He raised heaven and set the scale”: (07)

Flag 46: Celestial (Terrestrial also) Creations & functioning based on precise laws (Allah’s Way: Sunnat): (Rahman-55: 07)

> ” So that you may not transgress in respect of the scales”: (08)

> ” And keep up the measurement with justice and shorten not the balance”: (09)

Flag 47: Understanding Justice (Adl) and the Scale (Mizan): (Rahman-55: 07-09)

(i) Significance of Justice (Adl):The significance and the need for implementation of Justice (Adl) in all aspects, are described below along with Quranic citations.

> “Perfect is the word of your Lord in truth and justice, and there is none who can change His words, and He is all-hearing all-knowing”

(Anam-6: 116)

(ii) Justice (Adl) as Applied to the Universe: Allah’s ‘Divine Order’ is nothing but a ceaseless implementation of His Justice (Adl) with respect to each and every entity in the universe; individually, as well as collectively. Conversely, the term Justice (Adl) may be defined as universal adherence to all ‘Divine Order’ laws promulgated by the ‘Absolute Creator’ i.e. Allah.

(iii) Allah’s “Divine Order” is continuous and equally applicable to all ‘Ages’ i.e. past, present, and future.

> ” The word with Me never changes, nor am I unjust to my (My) servants”

(Qaf-50:29)

(iv) ‘Divine Order’ laws encompass a full range of norms pertaining to the entire universe. These are equally applicable to all the living creatures; and to the entire range of entities inclusive of the solar systems, galaxies, super black holes, supernovas and all the other known and unknown. These applicable norms remain as decreed by Allah being an integral part of His ‘Divine Order’.

(v) Allah’s decree in a scientific language (Yasin 37-40) clearly identifies that the universe ceaselessly follows His decrees (full range of scientific laws) without fail.

> ” The sun and the moon follow (exactly computed) courses”:

(Rahman-55: 05)

(vi) Scientific balance (Scale: Mizan) pertaining to all acts in the universe which is implementation of Allah’s Justice (Adl):

> “ He raised the heavens, and set the scale”

(Rahman-55: 07)

> “The sun travels to an appointed place. This is the decree of the mighty, the all-knowing (Lord)”

(Yasin-36: 38)

(vii) The compliance by the created entities is defined as their Prostration

> “ And the herbs and trees bow (to Him) in adoration”

(Rahman-55: 06)

(viii) Any compliance failure, which could be termed as a disaster, is controlled by His beneficence (Rahmaniyyat): Would it be imagined? Sun changing the direction of its rise arbitrarily; or commencement of seasons becomes random, or alternating of day and night becomes unpredictable?

(ix) Allah’s beneficence (Rahmaniyyat)/ (Al-Mizan: The Scale)/(Sajdah: Prostration): (Rahman-55: 05-09): The precise laws, made by Allah, governing the universe, bear witness to Allah’s wisdom and absolute justice and also to His favours to His creatures. Man relies upon the laws operating the universe and, without fear of an arbitrary change, directs his activities in the light of knowledge he has acquired about its working. Although Allah has absolute power over all things yet it is His absolute justice (Adl), a consequence of His beneficence (Rahmaniyyat) that He makes no arbitrary changes in His laws (Allah’s Way: Sunnat). Otherwise, there would be chaos and disorder in the universe. This fact of order and harmony was made known to man at a time when only conjecture and superstitions prevailed. It gave stimulus and sense of direction to man to observe, contemplate, and find out the laws operating the creation (References: Jathiya-45: 5: Anbiya-21: 20 & 33: Yasin-36: 37-40)

> ” It is not permitted to the sun that it should overtake the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day; each in an orbit, they float”

(Yasin-36: 40)

(x) Man being (Ashraful-Makhloqaat: the superior most creation) is expected to be the foremost in execution of (Adl: Justice) in all aspects of its life.

(xi) the infallible measure of (Adl: Justice) is (Mizan:Scale) by which right or wrong in human conduct is identified.

(xii) On the authority of Ali Ibn Abu Talib: Muhammad is the scale of truth which measures accurately to the minutest possible practice quantitatively and qualitatively.

> ” So that you may not transgress in respect of of the scales”

> ” And keep the measure with justice and shorten not the balance”

Surah Al Hadid

(57: 01-29)

> ” Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth celebrates the glory of Allah. He is all-mighty and all-wise”: (01)

Flag 77: Each and every entity in the heavens and the earth celebrates Allah’s glory: (Hadid-57: 01)

Note:

(i) Obeying the ‘Divine Order’ laws (Allah’s Way: Sunnat) means glorifying or celebrating His praise which is worship. Prostration is another way of glorifying Him.

(ii) All entities in the universe unfailing glorify the ‘Divine’ by ceaselessly following Allah’s Way (Sunnat).

(iii) Allah’s decree in a scientific language (Yasin 37-40) clearly identifies that the entire universe ceaselessly follows His decrees (full range of scientific laws) without fail.

> ” His is the kingdom of heavens and the earth, He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things”: (02)

> ” He is the first and He is the last, the manifest and hidden, and He has knowledge of everything”: (03)

> ” It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and then He established (Himself) on the Arsh (the seat of supreme authority)>>>”: (04)

Flag 78: The Step-wise Creation of Earth in its Solar System Explained: (Hadid-57: 04:Ha Mim-41: 09-12)

(i) Other references concerning creation of the universe: (Araf-7: 54: Yunus-10: 03: Hud-11: 07:Sajdah-32: 04): identifying a six day period for creation.

(ii) (Yawm: Day) used in some places in Quran is not the day in relation to earth’s solar system.

(iii) At the time when there was no solar system(s), the (Day) may refer to a period with its duration known only to Allah.

(iv) The first two days of creation of earth may refer to the very first two stages.

(v) Similarly, four days with respect to completion of earth and its environment (heavens) may also represent four different stages of creation.

>>> ” He knows whatsoever enters the earth, and whatsoever comes out of it, and whatsoever descends from the heaven, and whatsoever goes up to it, and He is with you wheresoever you may be, and He sees whatsoever you do”: (04)

> His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all afairs are brought back to Allah”: (05)

Flag 80: Belief in Muhammad and Charity emphasised: (Hadid-57: 07 & 10-11 & 18)

Note:

(i) Charity includes both physical and intellectual assets.

(ii) Using both of these sources in Allah’s way and discarding closed fistedness is the desired characteristics.

> ” What reason have you that you believe not in Allah, though the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord? He has indeed taken a covenant from you if you are believers”: (08)

Flag 81: The Celestial Covenant: O our Lord, You alone we worship: (Hadid-57: 08)

Note:

(i) ‘Covenant’ refers to the promise taken by Allah from every soul in the spiritual realm that it would serve and worship Him alone (Iyyaka Na Budu). The mandatory repetition of the promise is part of all prayers (Fatihah-01: 05).

Flag 82: Allah Signs: Invites mankind towards light (faith) from darkness (infidelity): (Hadid-57: 09 & 17: Baqarah-2: 257)

> ” What reason have you that you do not spend in the way of Allah when the heritage of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah? Those of you who spent before the victory and fought, are not equal to (to those who did not). They are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterward; unto each Allah has promised good. Verily He is aware of all you do”: (10)

Flag 83: Reminder: Charity and precedence in spending: Goodly loan to Allah: (Hadid-57: 07 & 10-11 & 18)

Note:

(i) Before the fall of Makka Muslims were a very poor community and during that period whatever they spent (in the way of Allah) was under distress and superior to that which was spent subsequently.

> ” Who is he that will give a goodly loan to Allah which He will double for him, and for him shall be a noble recompense”: (11)

> ” The day you shall see the believers, men, and women, with their light advancing ahead and to the right of them, (they will be told): Glad tidings for you this day, of gardens beneath which rivers flow where you will live forever”: (12)

> ” The day the hypocrites, men, and women, will say to the believers: Wait for us that we may borrow (a little) light from your light. They will be told: Go back and look for your own light. A wall (barrier) shall be raised between them in which will be a door. Within it will be mercy, and outside of it there will be torment”: (13)

> “They will cry unto them: Were we not with you? They will answer: Certainly; but then you let yourself be tempted, and waited (in the expectation that we would be beguiled), and doubted (Allah’s warning), and (your) vain desires deceived you, till the decree of Allah came to pass, and the arch deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah”: (14)

> ” Has the time not yet come when the hearts of believers should humble (themselves) by the remembrance of Allah and the truth which has come down, so that they should not be like those who were given the book before them, but long ages passed over them and their hearts were hardened, and many of them turned transgressors”? Note:

(i) The common shallowness of faith and arrogance has been highlighted. (ii) The revelation of this verse is reportedly during (13 or 14th year) of launching of his mission by the holy Prophet.

> ” Know that Allah enlivens the earth even after it has died. We have explained to you clearly (Our) signs that you may understand”: (17)

Flag 87: (light) a recompense for the sincere truthful believers: (Hadid-57: 19)

Note:

(i) Also see (Hadid-57: 12-15 & 19):

> “Know that the life of this world is only a frolic and pastime, ornamentation, boasting and bragging among yourselves, and lust for multiplying wealth and children. It is like rain so pleasing to the cultivator for his vegetation which sprouts and swells, and then whither, and you see it turn yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles. There is severe punishment in the hereafter, (but also) forgiveness from Allah and (His) pleasure. As for the life of this world, it is no more than the merchandise of illusion”: (20)

(ii) Everything contained in the (Loh-e-Mehfooz) is Allah’s Way (Sunnat) and His commandments contained therein follow at appropriate time for execution.

(iii) The advance recording of the upcoming events in no way indicates that mankind is up against a prefixed destiny.

(iv) On the contrary, every individual carries his destiny in his own hands depending on the course of action adopted by him during his life.

(v) Everyone continues to receive Allah’s help, guidance or neglect in line with Allah’s Way (Sunnat).

Verily Allah is all-powerful and all-mighty”: (25)

Flag 92: Book (Quran), Messengers and Scale (Mizan):The Iron (Hadid): A mighty gift to mankind from Allah: (Hadid-57: 25)

Note:

(i) Man being (Ashraful-Makhloqaat: the superior most creation) is expected to be the foremost in execution of (Adl: Justice) in all aspects of its life.

(ii) The infallible measure of (Adl: Justice) is (Mizan:Scale) by which right or wrong in human conduct is identified.

(iii) On the authority of Ali Ibn Abu Talib: Muhammad is the scale of truth which measures accurately to the minutest possible practice quantitatively and qualitatively.

> ” So that you may not transgress in respect of of the scales”

(Rahman-55: 08)

(iv) Help ‘in secret’ may refer to numerous incidents of unseen help to various messengers from Allah.

(v) ‘mighty power’ may be a reference to ‘Dhulfiqar’ the sword given to Ali by the Holy Prophet.

> ” We sent Nuh and Ibrahim, and We founded prophet-hood and the book in the seed of the twain; so some of them are rightly guided, but may of the are transgressors”: (26)

Flag 93: The anatomy of Prophet-hood & its founding: (Hadid-57: 26-27)

Note:

(i) It is asserted that the prophet-hood and revelation have been exclusively reserved for the offspring of Nuh and Ibrahim

(ii) The main issue prior to Nuh was understanding (Tawhid:Unity) and surrender to it.

(iii) The formalization of true faith based on Allah’s unity (Tawhid) and bringing it into the form of religion; while launched by Nuh; took a well-defined shape at the time of Ibrahim.

(iv) Ibrahim is truly the fountainhead of faith what we know as (Islam) today which was perfected and completed by the last Prophet Muhammad.

> ” Then We caused Our messengers to follow in their footsteps; We after them sent Isa, son of Maryam, and gave him the Injil, and put into the hearts of his followers compassion and kindness; but they invented monasticism which had not been prescribed for them by Us save for seeking the pleasure of Allah, yet they did not observe it as it should have been observed. So We gave those among them who believed their reward; but most of them are transgressors”: (27)

Flag 94: Christians invented practices not prescribed by Allah: (Hadid-57: 27)

Note:

(i) The Christian concept of (Trinity) is far fetched and is in direct contravention of the ‘Divine’ concept.

(ii) Trinity [N] a word not found in Scripture, but used to express the doctrine of the unity of God as subsisting in three distinct Persons. This word is derived from the Gr. trias, first used by Theophilus (A.D. 168-183), or from the Lat. trinitas, first used by Tertullian (A.D. 220), to express this doctrine.

(iii) The concept of (Monasticism: Rahbaniyat or Monkhood) is unnatural and against Allah’s Way (Sunnat).

> ” O you who believe, fear (the wrath of) Allah and believe in His messenger. He will give you twice as much mercy and will appoint for you a light wherein you shall walk (straight on the right path), and He will forgive you, for Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful”: (28)

> ” So that the people of the book may know that they have not the least power over the grace of Allah and that the grace is wholly in the hands of Allah to give whosoever He wills, for Allah is the owner of infinite grace”: (29)

Flag 95: Allah (Zulfaz-lil-Azim: Owner of the Infinite Grace) will appoint a light for the believers: (Hadid-57: 28-29)

Note:

(i) ‘appoint for you a light’ may refer to the thoroughly purified by Allah (Ahlul Bayt inclusive of their twelve Imams in an unbroken chain :Ahzab-33: 33).

(ii) It may also be a hint towards reappearance of the (Twelfth Imam).
